About Plough and Harrow

Erected in 1841 by Samuel Arnold, the Plough and Harrow proudly retains its original structure in the very spot where it was initially built, making it the oldest pub in Camden. Despite undergoing various transformations, including a brief stint as The Argyle Inn, the establishment has been lovingly restored to its original name, paying homage to its rich historical significance.

Presently, the Plough and Harrow stands as a venerable Camden pub, blending old-school charm with a touch of upscale pub cuisine. Renowned for its commitment to exceptional modern amenities, warm and welcoming service, and engaging weekly entertainment, which includes raffles and live performances, the pub offers a nostalgic yet vibrant atmosphere. Featuring a selection of traditional beers, cocktails, an extensive spirit range, and an impressive variety of wines, we are the ideal destination for your next outing.

In a special tribute during the 2023 State of Origin Series, we temporarily transformed into one of Tooheys Pubs of Origin, adopting the name The Tedesco Inn. This gesture served as a respectful nod and show of support to NSW Blues Captain and former local Camden Rams player, James Tedesco.
