About Mail Exchange Hotel

Melbourne's iconic Mail Exchange Hotel is a warm, inviting and relaxing bar located in the heart of the CBD. The perfect venue for dining, drinking and celebrating, the hotel is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in between.

Since the building was first established in 1917, the Mail Exchange building, now heritage listed, has been restored to feature a comfortable 200 seat dining area, spacious central bar, courtyard, generous function spaces and relaxing lounge areas. The Hotel also offers TAB services and complimentary wifi.
