About Steam Packet Hotel
The Steam Packet Hotel is one of the oldest licensed hotels in Melbourne. Originally built in 1839 as the "Ship Inn" it was rebuilt after a fire in 1863 as the Steam Packet Hotel.
The Packet was one of the first pubs in Melbourne to embrace the craft beer movement and we have 16 taps serving 13 different beers and ciders. We are the best place in Williamstown to watch sport, two separate Foxtel feeds, 4 big screen TV's and 2 100" project screens mean you will never miss a minute of your favorite sports
New owners took over in August 2016, we've renovated, our kitchen has re-invigorated our food offerings and we now have seasonal menu's highlighting the best produce available as well as a selection of classic pub grub. Our new wine list showcases the best wines from Australia and across the globe.
